As displayed at the show Normal Objects (The Clay Studio, 2017), the Township is divided into parcels of land and the viewer may select any of these areas for purchase. Once the transaction has taken place, they have the option to conserve the forest and leave the object(s) purchased in their place, or to replace the forested area with a blank object with no trees, thus deforesting the areas.
